Andy Seaborne commented on JENA-909:
------------------------------------
What I think the best approach is to "do it normally", that is as people
expect, by adopting common practice from elsewhere and deviating from it only
when there is a specific requirement.
Looking in dockerhub for a docker Fuseki is normal but so is a local build for
development. We can have both - with the maven build docker image not active
(maybe).
Whether the automated build from Dockerhub is suitable needs some thinking
about.
At some level, even convenience binaries are official project outputs and
having some other system magically make them outside our control is a factor to
consider. Do the current https://hub.docker.com/u/apache upload or auto-build?
(One requirement we have is injecting the configuration somehow - command line,
external file area, etc and Fuseki/main is more suitable for that).
