Far be it from me to interpret Sophie's words, but I do not think that
this is what she is saying. The fact that your problem may not to our or
her knowledge be solvable doesn't mean that anyone is avoiding the
problem, nor that we are telling you to go away. In this regard, your
comments to Sophie are out of line.

Yes, of course it is a legitimate aim, but that doesn't mean that the
Community has a solution for you that it can pull out of the magician's
hat with a wave of its wand.

You seem to be forgetting that OOo has to target as wide an audience as
possible. This may mean compromising individuality or "tweaking" in the
way that you see it, and conforming to the accepted norm in the country
of intended use.

Well, you have already received an answer about recompiling a library
that represents one possible solution. The fact that this solution may
be too complicated for you to put into operation does not make it any
less of a solution.
