I think that NLC leaders of this languages have to say are they use different letters in numbering. In Bulgarian the alpaphabet is this: А, Б, В, Г, Д, Е, Ж, З, И, Й, К, Л, М, Н, О, П, Р, С, Т, У, Ф, Х, Ц, Ч, Ш, Щ, Ъ, Ь, Ю, Я. So, if other langueges have no problems to use numbering with this letters I'll change the variables name to standart name. Let speak others :)
