Look at Russian Criminal Law :)

There is a quite long example from a to n in very beiginning.
Seems, that characters with umlaut or tilde are not used.
I think that NLC leaders of this languages have to say are they use different
letters in numbering.
In Bulgarian the alpaphabet is this: А, Б, В, Г, Д, Е, Ж, З, И, Й, К, Л, М, Н,
О, П, Р, С, Т, У, Ф, Х, Ц, Ч, Ш, Щ, Ъ, Ь, Ю, Я.
So, if other langueges have no problems to use numbering with this letters
I'll change the variables name to standart name. Let speak others :)
Sorry for delayed reply, but I want to add my 2 cents/rubles/levas or
whatever :).
Why we use hardcoded character tables? Can we use locale data or
localizable resources with default English fallback for this? In this
case we'll have no problem with other languages (maybe).
