Yes, I want to make this as simple as possible, and having the
"Valencian" concept exported to documents is an unnecessary
complication.

Also, given the Catalan myspell dictionary supports both Catalan, Balear
and Valencian variants (or should, anything missing is a bug and we're
actively working on completing it), it's ok for us to assume the
dictionary is "ca" for the Valencian version.

In short, unless I'm missing something very big, the scope of this
Valencian request is only for the UI, nothing else. I understand the
Valencian version will not have a "Valencian" option in the preferences
for document language. Will it have one for the application language,
though?

Right, this sounds like a real mess. Luckily we don't want to get into
this pit. :)
