My name is Bruno GALLART. I am an informatician.
I did the first spellchecker Occitan-languedocian for OpenOffice.org
(1). You may find it on the dictionari's site d'OpenOffice with the name
Occitan(lengadocian). It was for me a test to find a team with persons
very interesting by the translation of OpenOffice.
Now, we are a team and we should like to launch an Occitan-languedocian
Localizacion Project.
According o the advice of Laurent Godard, I have beginning the creation
of local file for languedocian in Web Site it46.se with the "local
generator" tool. It name is lnc_oc_FR.But I don't achieved this job, I
think.
We shall like to know what is the process to be accepted to translate
OpenOffice.org in Occitan-lengadocian.
Any advice will be appreciated
A few years ago, there was another team who wanted to translate OOo
into Occitan, and they were using Catalan as their base language.
Maybe this is a good option for you too.
