this example right above is normal behaviour. from such GSI you can recreate set of po files when you need (example when switching between toolkit major versions), where translated messages are translated and untranslated messages are untranslated. When you dont have 'single' en-us lines, you will miss all untranslated messages and when you have filled pairs, you will go crazy searching what is translated in relity and what is not. ;) ain
