As mentioned above Joost will try to gather some numbers about how much
space we can use for additional languages. This could influence the
exact percentage of translated UI which gets required. But IMHO 80% UI
translated would be a good start.
A question because I'm not aware of the technicals issues behind but if
it's only a space question, wouldn't it be possible to have an inverse
reasoning and find out how much space we need for these additional
languages? I mean what is needed to get enough space for all the l10n
teams to see their work finalized and their version available?
I will forward this question to Joost. Perhaps he can provide some
numbers. Please don't expect a quick answer. It's not only the one time
space on the extended mirrors we have to care about, but AFAIK also the
archive mirrors.
