I think that the 'competitive writing features' is a better idea because it shows the goal of being the best not just another of the same sub-standard tools. Perhaps 'The mission of the Lingucomponent Project is to providecompetitive multi-language writing aid features (spell checking, hyphenation, thesaurus, grammar checking etc.) with a single language neutral implementation.' would say it better? --- Laurent Godard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi daniel > > > > > Laci Németh suggests a new mission statement for > our web site at > > http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org: > > > > The mission of the Lingucomponent Project is to > provide > > competitive writing aid features (spell checking, > hyphenation, > > thesaurus, grammar checking etc.) for as many > languages as possible. > > > > (I only very slightly changed Laci's original > suggestion) > > > > What do you think? > > +1 > > perharps say "generic writing aid features" > otherwise you could end up > with a lot of implementation per language.
