I 100% agree. I've been using it for a year now... I was given a lap
top with no software and no access to my software store at work. so I
took the leap of faith.... as you say the subversion integration is a
total killer... :) and all the pluggins you can get make it seriously
worth while, especially if you work with more than one language on a
daily basis:)

I switched to Eclipse about 9 months ago and now I couldn't do without
it. Its ability to integrate with Subversion alone is a killer
feature. Now we have the RDS plugin which will take a database table
and write a DAO and Bean from it. I cannot even consider going back to
HomeSite.

TBH I haven't been a big fan of eclipse
BUT saying that the more I get used to it the more I'm enjoying the
experience
I especially like the shortcuts e.g.
Ctrl + shift + o (cfoutput's)
Ctrl + shift + d (cfdump)
Ctrl + shift + m (comments)
Ctrl + 3 (#'s)
makes life a lot easier
