quite simply eclipse is a programmers tool, where as dreamweaver is
really for designers... sorry all those who use it.
I now make sure all my team use eclipse... one of them who was totally
against it has now removed dreamweaver and homesite from his machine,
and is rather open about using it, and making sure others do to. TBH he
was against SVN also... seems he didn't like change and then embraced it
to the Nth degree:)

I've been wondering what the advantage is with Eclipse over DW8. Instead of
learning new keyboard shortcuts isn't it arguably as easy to type <cfou
TAB to get <cfoutput> for example, and then </ to automatically close the
tag. I wish DW had autocomplete for functions and not just tags.

TBH I haven't been a big fan of eclipse
BUT saying that the more I get used to it the more I'm enjoying the
experience
I especially like the shortcuts e.g.
Ctrl + shift + o (cfoutput's)
Ctrl + shift + d (cfdump)
Ctrl + shift + m (comments)
Ctrl + 3 (#'s)
makes life a lot easier
