Cfoutput has an attribute "startrow" and "maxrows".
So you can use these to display a specific record, and only to show 1 record
at a time.
Standard next and last records format really.

Subject: [CF-Dev] Question ...

>- see footer for list info -<
I have a multipart form and one of the parts repeats. This part of the form
records victims of a bullying incident. So the user can fill in the form and
then 'add another victim'. The data is written to tblVictims with a key for
this dataset.

196 - Paul Swingewood
196 - Bill Bloggs
196 - Fred Flinstone
196 - Ozzy Osbourne

etc....

I am now writing the code to modify this entry ....

The user is passed through the parts of the form as they did when they
entered the data so they do part 1, part2, part3, etc... making changes as
they go... However when they get to this part I want to be able to show
record 1 of the victims table (assosiacted by key) and the user to click
'next victim to show record 2 and so on ... until they click the next or
finish button. next will take them to the next part of the form finish will
er.... finish ....

So my thoughts so far on how to do this are ....

Get the number of records in the victims table that are associated with the
key.
Get the ID of the first record associated (How do I do this ...?) Display
that first record If the next victim button is pressed pass back to the form
and get record 2

I haven't a clue how to code this really....

Can anyone help .....? (I can attach the form if required...)

Regards - Paul
