Just to clarify the cfguru post from Ben Forta... In previous versions of CF 'Service Packs' were complete reinstalls of the Server and usually came in at about 60-80MB.
The updater for CFMX uses ANT to redeploy the CFMX app server. That allows a new version of the software to be deployed without having to reinstall the whole lot. With that in mind, not a full service pack means not a 60 MB download, and new update mechanism means only some parts of the server will be updated, rather than the whole thing being reinstalled. i.e. Think of the updaters for CFMX being analagous to CF 4.51 and 4.52.
