Got me thinking, and again, tell me if I've missd something and this is already the case. Wouldn't it be nice if MM provided an XML web service where all the service pack information (date of issue, url, relevant platforms, issues addressed, etc.) was made available so we could roll our own update or indeed update notification mechanisms.
