Shorewall, and some form of intrusion detection system == �0.00 in software.

Or get some form of personal firewall onto the SQL server (eg. Tiny Personal
Firewall, Zone Alarm Pro, Norton's one, etc.) and block by IP address.

OR... befriend the hackers and ask them to kindly insert code in the worms
to avoid your IP address.

After this weekends lovely SQL attacks, I think it's time to invest in a
firewall for the SQL servers and not give everyone enterprise manager
access who isn't on a static IP address.

Any suggests on firewall products, pref not the stupidly expensive ones
like that Nokia at �11k
