Flash as it currently stands can't compete with HTML for one reason: Cost to create Flash: development time + $499 for MX version Cost to create HTML: development time + �0 for any free text editor.

Horses for courses innit? only use the right tools for the job - both HTML and flash have their pros and cons, so thats something you weigh up when designing a solution to a customer's requirements- but to use Flash as a direct replacement for HTML is a pet hate of mine.
