Hi all, I'm a bit surprised to see that the Dutch translation for Chamilo 1.8 is very limited (actually it doesn't even have the name of the tools translated). Is that normal?
I know I've been making considerable translation efforts to have a French translation for 2.0, and I would have expected a similar courtesy from the development team in general... Is there something I can do to motivate any of you to give a quick run-through of the 1.8 translation? Are all Dutch-natives working on the development of 2.0 and awfully busy right now? We're doing a demo for INAMI in a few days and most likely Chamilo as a possible platform could loose a substantial amount of points if the translation to Dutch is lacking so many terms (honestly, it didn't even cross my mind it would have been left out like this when we have such a large Dutch community). I have no idea of the total lack of translation, but http://translate.chamilo.org gives a status of 79% for 2.0 and 1.8 combined, so I would think that, if 100% of 2.0 is translated, then we have 58% of 1.8 terms already translated... (which still leaves around 2000 terms to be translated). As a reminder, English->Dutch translators can easily translate the terms by clicking on the language name (in the "ENGLISH NAME" column) and then selecting the white/green icon on the right of files of version 1.8. In particular importance are trad4all and course_home files.
