Shay, I forwarded your idea to the -dev list. Personally I think this is a great idea, really whenever there is a even a remote possibility of an index corruption, and we fix it, I think we should aggressively issue a release.
We also have some important bugfixes to things like NumericRangeQuery. I'll sign up to do it, unless Uwe has the time and prefers to (since he has mastered the art of cranking these 2.9.x/3.0.x things out, and it would be my first time/take me longer). What do you guys think? ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Shay Banon <kim...@gmail.com> Date: Thu, Oct 28, 2010 at 5:59 PM Subject: Lucene 3.0.3 Release Date To: java-u...@lucene.apache.org Hi, It seems like current 3.0 branch has accumulated some important bug fixes, especially the possible index corruption bug. Is there a date for a formal 3.0.3 release? -shay.banon --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@lucene.apache.org
