Another idea that I've been thinking about for some time is to use the Solr
Admin GUI to give hints to users instead of automatically managing the cluster
completely. This can help us get rid of an additional config param
(autoManageCluster) and reduce growing pains of such a feature by letting it
"bake" for a while in real world installations without causing them damage.
