I didn't say we should not have a presence at linux confs, just that we should not do it to the detriment of other types of conferences.

Heh! I knew such devils advocacy would get a bite. If it makes us examine things a little closer then well an good.

Oh and BTW welcome to the INGOTs team Jason, good to have you aboard.

Think about it. In five years or possibly less we'll be attending INGOTs conferences. :D
