Thanks for this excellent update! It's good to learn how this project
is doing.
Thanks for the compliments.
To be honust I've forgotten some things, like presentations, discussions
with a MS guy and such.
We tried for a short while to get general updates but the
problem is that after two or three, it gets tiring and people find
better things to do. Perhaps focusing on *marketing* endeavours is the
way to go.
Probably.
On the other hand, I see inspiring posts from some others regularly.
One of the things I noted above was your emphasis on business support.
It's not our intention to forget the consumer-market. Activities are not
part of a carefully drafted plan. More a sort of what comes up ;-) And
then of course choose what to do and what not.
Have you joined our BizDev project? or been listed there as a
consultant? It's a project sort of seeking a raison d'être but one
thing it's interested in is helping businesses in their deployment and
use of OOo. The url: http://bizdev.openoffice.org/
Am on that already. Thanks.
Also, have you and Simon and Arthur considered submitting a proposal
for the next OOoCon? :-)
Not realy. It's been in Europe a few times now. So maybe we should
propose another continent? (Though I'm not sure I'm going to travel that
far, but that shouldn´t play a role.)
Greetings,
Cor
