Hi Laurent,

Unfortunately this whole thread has focused on documentation, while the main point is on targeting developer communities. As a developer I guess we could focus more on what we DO have from what we lack.

I think there are many resources spread over the OOo-related sites, if there is a way to focus it so new developers might want to jump in, it would be a great gain for both, marketing and extension project.

I guess one of the questions related to PyUNO is if there is a space within the Extension project dedicated to PyUNO. I know that PyUNO was settle more on the UDK mailing lists, however I am not very knowledgable if there are more resources on the wiki.

Another more development oriented proposal is to include this abstraction modules on the distribution of OOo. This will benefit everyone since it will make the API easier to work on but also will make it compatible across the board without needing to install the extra library modules.

I dont think this is a difficult thing since this modules have already been worked up and packaged for easy implementation on the source tree. However I am not sure how easy or difficult is to make this pass the core developers. You have succesfully include your Dictionary Wizard on the source tree of OOo. How easy/hard is to include this extra python modules in it?
