Hi Louis,

Great Idea

Well, seems to me that one could start by leveraging what is already in place.

There are a number of RSS/ATOM feed readers for the iPhone (and one assumes iPad) already.

What would could be done on our side is to create an aggregation, (per the planet ) or separate blog (marketing revived?) dishing up content appropriate for the users (hand held OO.o users I suppose is the way to name that group??). Now setup a ATOM/RSS feed with appropriate markup for the devices.

At least it seems like a way to go - off the top of my head.

A next step could be an OO.o branded reader and that would be cool I suppose.

Only caution on that would be the numbers put out recently by Flurry relating to app retention rates - so I would say a better ROI would be to have a feed in place, specific to that audience, and let the user choose their reader.

Then of course we would need to let the world know that the feed exists...yes.

anyway - just my quick thoughts.

Drew

ps:
The Flurry numbers I mentioned for retention:

Perhaps more important to us, IMO, are these numbers:

Look at the sweet spot that productivity is sitting in - the market is waiting for someone to catch that crowd and they are waiting to be caught..IMO.
