I think the problem of the iphone is and always will be Apple. With
news like apple trying to block an app because it reference Iphone, I
would be very skeptical about getting it on the iphone. at the same
time I have heard of users that have been able to create iphone
specific web apps so they look and feel like an application on the
iphone.

At the same time Android might be a much free'er environment. And I
think this would be a better to provide apps for it. I think this will
be much better solution and would make it much more available.

I do see however a big issue and is that the OOo site is not federated
so an RSS can't be generated unless it scrapt it off from the website.

At the end of the day I think for a good programmer this will take
almost 2 weeks of development per platform. Maybe the website will run
on everything without much issue.

I own a N900 maemo and Qt seems like a great tool to develop these
apps/widgets for OOo.
