Hi Louis, In regards with your suggestion, how about if OOo.org start posting its latest news/update (in regards with OOo) on Twitter? [see http://twitter.com ]
This way: - No 'new program' need to be created. We can use Twitter platform instead. - People and 'fans' simply can 'follow' OOo.org via Twitter to do so. And the best thing is: Twitter client is available in many platforms: iPhone, Blackberry, Windows, Mac, even the browser version. In essence: (1) it makes the information 'portable', (2) it makes people, 'fans' and everybody always uptodate of what's going on, (3) it makes spreading news & connectivity [to any device & platform] easy. Just an idea.
