+1 on Online OpenOffice.org Let's think of using it not through the browser. I personally don't like using stuffs through browser. So, I stopped using Google Docs.
The Corporation, now Oracle, can make profit by providing hosting. Like Dropbox, ZumoDrive, they can charge for extra storage (let say 2 GB is free).
