Plexus-* is huge. so while we /may/ choose to do single efforts like moving maven core of the 5 specific classes in p-u,I simply do not see us moving everything off plexus. I tend to consider that effort to be wasteful use of energy. So creating a decent home for plexus is overall a better strategy.
Its important to remember that plexus is massive. Plexus-utils is just a tiny part of it. We depend on about 2/3 of the entire plexus code base. K 6.
