I'm for jdk 8 as a target for Maven Core, in some of the important pieces
we can use the milti release feature.
Thank you, this is exactly what we suffer from. You have been fantastic,
bus exhausting work which won't be easier with any newer Java version.
In fact, users will never contribute what you contribute. They throw an
issue at us and expect us to solve it. Free, idiot support.
