I did not take things personal at all, I just didn't understand your point.

At in fact, not that it really matters, I still don't agree with you
about the cross-posting.

Requesting Ceki to add MDC support for jul to SLF4J has no direct impact on MINA
(all projects depending on SLF4J benefit from it).

AND this was announced on this mailing list before I made the request
AND it was announced on this mailing list after it got approved.
AND I didn't consider MDC a hot topic (maybe logging frameworks itself
are, but not MDC)

but indeed, I did mention MINA in the request to Ceki.
Next time I will consider cross-posting :-)

To conclude, I would like to second Alex and David:  Let's move forward now. :-)

So back to the real subject:  does anyone object against removing
IoSessionLogger ?
