Some corporate donations have been converted to projects via the Incubator, JackRabbit, BeeHive, and Derby being three examples. But, all of those went on to become projects in their own right. (In Derby's case, they joined DB, but DB is an umbrella.) If we are not sure whether ADF Faces should be a TLP or part of MyFaces, then a podling incubation would be appropriate. But, we are going to need people to shepard the new developers, which can be as much work as writing the code yourself. :) -Ted.
