sure , but in the end its all about options ..

bare in mind people playing with low level c / rtos will most likely have 
encountered docker in one form or a other.

id still mention it unless the intension is to sell more rpi’s + addons

and as for the speed .. we talking 15-50 kb c code at most

that will be fast even if its on a 100 mhz single core .. ( my 2 cents )
