Hello, We at the Rebati project (http://oriya.sarovar.org) are interested in FOSS localization into our native language Oriya (language code or). We have been working on localizing GNOME, and I have also been an active participant in IndLinux, the umbrella organization for FOSS localization into Indian languages. We are interested in localizing OpenOffice, as we feel that an office suite that works in Oriya and has a native-language interface would be an application that would attract lots of users. Please let me know how we can get started.
Unfortunately, there are also significant problems in rendering Oriya under OpenOffice. I was trying to submit a bug report on that issue, but was unable to identify the proper component to file it under, as no component for Oriya exists so far. I have posted a query about this to [EMAIL PROTECTED] We would also like to help solve these technical problems, at least to the extent of providing comprehensive bug reports. Regards, Gora
