I think the best option is to have to completely separated independent
foundations: one for ODF and another for OOo.
ODF should have its own foundation as a guarantee of its independence
and vendor neutrality.
As for an OOo foundation I will not argue now, but it is my vision from
the beginning of my involvement in OOo.
Of course, an OOo foundation make sense *only* if it has authority over
the entire development, not only on addons, extras or some marginal stuff.
I can't believe that the projects speaking usually (may I name IT, DE,
ES ;) won't this time ?
If you'd prefer an irc meeting or anything else, just voice it.
But really, I think this is important for all of us to discuss about it,
no matter we agree or not, each opinion is valuable.
But we have to figure out, all together, what we want for the OOo next
day :)
