I read it by now - it took me more than 1 hour to read and I didn't
understand more than 60% I suppose :-(

I'll try to post what I hope to have understood in a second mail in
order to get clarification and perhaps give others the chance to join
the discussion without spending so much time as I did.

I agree with Khirano that this topic is so important that it should be
discussed among the nat-lang projects as well. You, Sophie, brought it
from CC to NLC, if there are no objections I'd like to see it spread
among the whole community.

Not being project Lead/Co-Lead I can just speak for myself, but I think
we have to discuss this topic on the DE-list - and because we are a
project with several strong and different opinions it could take some
time to come back with results.

After discussing it inside the projects this could be a good idea, but
for such an important topic I'd rather prefer the list and it's
archive.

I fully agree!

Wouldn't this be a topic to post on [email protected] as well?
I'm not able to read any more lists, but in the archive of this month I
didn't find a subject leading to this topic.

That's it - all together!
So let us include as many active community members as possible. It will
take some time (and effort for those spreading the topic inside the
different projects), but it's much worthwhile!

If we manage to get a conclusion out of the heart of the community, it
will be a sign how open source does work!
