As for an OOo foundation I will not argue now, but it is my vision from
the beginning of my involvement in OOo.
Of course, an OOo foundation make sense *only* if it has authority over
the entire development, not only on addons, extras or some marginal
stuff.
The question here is if we would be sustainable mantaining the code
ourself. I have asked this for a while now, ever since OOoCon 2004 where
we were approach by sun to see if we can have the expertise and social
resources to mantain our localization of the tree. Is something that pavel
do right now for most localizations, but he admits that is extremely hard
and labor intensive.
