It is not up to me to comment on this; and besides I did no follow the discussions that have taken place on the DE lists. It is however a very good thing to start such a discussion and to report it here. I encourage every other NLproject to have such a discussion among its members and to report the results and conclusion of the debate here. I believe, although there is no real hint as to how long such a foundation would take to be accepted and founded, that what the DE project did is important and helps adding more community input in the balance. This is why I would like to take this summary (provided the DE community members have agreed on it)a little bit further: I would like the NLC representatives at the Community Council to take this text, and ask the Council to study it carefully; and answer to it. There is no rush but it should be done at some point, as I hope more Native-Lang projects will post their own conclusions to these questions; and such messages should also be studied and answered to by the Community Council.
