Is there any volunteer who could start the discussion with other projects, actively cooperate with them, discuss the template needs...? I think that we really need more cooperation.

Tomorrow I'll lauch the discussion on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list. I think it's
the
best choice, and nobody will be able to say that it was done behind
close doors... :-)

Apologies for my lack of knowlegde, but isn't there a sort of coordination within each project, so that participants know that project-member A also reads mails from project X or Y and thus can inform the project about interesting developments at other projects??

I have found that only personal interest in what others are doing. Over
time a network of sorts does come into existence. e.g. I follow what
goes on in fr.openoffice.org as best I can as well as monitor other
mailing lists. This is likely what all of us have been doing.

And a next step is, to foeward info to someone, if you think it is of interest. This is quite close to keeping each other informed by letting the network work :-)
