Apologies for my lack of knowlegde, but isn't there a sort of
coordination within each project, so that participants know that
project-member A also reads mails from project X or Y and thus can
inform the project about interesting developments at other projects??
I'm not sure which is worse:
* That the answer to your question is "no";
* That you have to ask it;
The only semi-reliable way to find out what is going on in any specific
project, is to subscribe to (and read) all of the of the lists hosted at
openoffice.org, and the lists hosted elsewhere, that are used by
projects within OOo. A Gmail account is useful here, because it will let
you store about a fortnights worth of messages from all of those lists.
You also need to be a speed reader, to keep up with all of the messages.
