Well, you've must have overwritten your netbeans.conf and your
netbeans_default_options in it.
These needs to be added there:
-J-DTopSecurityManager.disable=true -J-Djava.lang.Runtime.level=FINE
^^ those two flags /replace/ "-J-Djava.security.manager=allow"
but normally you don't have to do anything. Something must have
overwritten the NB25rc1 supplied config file.
People can override with a conf in the userdir.
interesting - didn't consider this option.
I'm not sure how common
that is, but I know I've recommended on a few issues. We might need a note
with the release to delete or change that conf before upgrading. See how
many reports we get during RC.
reusing the userdir is always somewhat risky but esp while testing
non-final releases.
#6094, #6559 etc seemed to have helped to filter out all the
(potentially decades old) broken configs sitting around and waiting to
cause trouble in new releases. At least I haven't seen any
invalid-code-point reports in quite a while.
