Thanks, I did not know that.
I removed my custom netbeans.conf now and am using this instead.

another way of configuring it is by overwriting FlatLaf properties:

tools -> options -> appearance -> flatlaf -> edit custom properties

defaultFont = 18 "Cantarell Regular", "Open Sans", "Noto Sans", Roboto, Arial

(just an example - you might want a different font etc)

This will also allow you to increase contrast and various other things.

advantage: it is stored in your user config dir and will be imported into the next release
