but it's not perfect.

The feather and bands are super nice and flat. The logo is not flat
all all and looks a bit off superimposed like that. It might be a good
idea to bring back the red wireframe NetBeans logo that we had in
previous versions. See eg. http://imgur.com/ZKajQPp or
http://imgur.com/ZVH8RB7

The font is nice because it's thin but it irks me the little curl on
the lowercase `n'.

With that in mind this other variant is simpler
