But instead of think Java not Electron, I'm thinking Java *in* Electron. ie. using their existing chromium framework and desktop ui integration, with a JVM doing all the business logic, non-ui platform stuff. I see it as a way to experiment rather than a long term option. This approach also means no embedding HTML in a Java UI, but I'm ok with that.
