Hi team, I was reviewing the open JIRA issues today and noticed we have several thousand unresolved tickets. While this volume is not a concern, I propose we conduct a basic cleanup to improve visibility.
My initial proposal involves closing the following two groups of issues: - Unresolved issues with an affected version of 0.x, but not 1.x or 2.x (139 issues). - Unresolved issues of type "Bug" with an affected version of 1.x, but not 2.x (692 issues). We would perform a bulk update on these issues, setting their resolution to "Feedback Received". We would also add a comment explaining that the 0.x and 1.x versions are no longer actively maintained and that the issue should be re-opened or a new one created if the problem is still relevant on the 2.x line. Please share your thoughts on this approach. If we do proceed, be aware that it may result in a large volume of email notifications, depending on your personal settings. Thanks, Pierre
