More...I think OpenVela is completely open source. It is a userspace framework
that runs on NuttX or Linux. Nuttx is not "inside" of OpenVela: They use
same os from the same repositories as you do.They encourage and support open
source development just as NuttX does.I hope that someone from Xiaomi corrects
any misceptions that I have introduced here.Sent from my Galaxy

Global Developer Conference Okay got one that works thank you Greg! I was
surprised to see I am inthe part of the world being already cut out from the
rest of the worlddue to "smart" bureacratic policies already.. but to be honest
Iunderstand it even agree with that somehow :-) :-)"openvela is the open-source
version of Xiaomi Vela, an internaloperating system developed by Xiaomi. It
features an excellent kernel(..)"Sorry to ask but as a person who is only
interested in the NuttX part:So OpenVela is the operating system or the
independent framework thatworks on top of NuttX and is platform agnostic? It
sounds like it is astandalone operating system? I thought it is kind of lets
say"advanced mqtt" framework with client and server approach? Is "internal" Vela
based on NuttX or Minix or Linux or BSD orsomething else? It sounds like it is
custom (from scratch?) closedsource solution and has nothing to do with NuttX
correct? It is usedin the commercial products while the open part is available
to thepublic and NuttX based? Can *Vela work without NuttX? I mean is OpenVela
portable framework toother big / small / RTOS / POSIX platforms? Are different
partsavailable as standalone components (i.e. client on FreeRTOS and serveron
BSD)? For instance if a company uses some product already based onother OS/RTOS
can they run Vela too? This sounds a bit marketing-ish to say that Vela makes
NuttX "a highlyefficient and accessible innovation platform for researchers
anddevelopers around the globe" not the other way around, or even feelslike
NuttX is small part of Vela, but there may be other connectionsbehind like
Espressif contributions or some other frameworks involvedbecause it is bigger
ecosystem somehow connected economically?I know NuttX but did not use OpenVela
or maybe I am just not awarethat I am using it already? :-)TomekOn Mon, Oct 27,
