> The old days, the project mail was used only for technical
discussions. There were seldom public project discussions. You can see
all public discussion outside of the Discord here:
https://groups.google.com/g/nuttx. The old Discord channel was removed.
Things worked worked much better then compared to now where everyone's
opinion mattered.
Before that, public discussions going back to the initial project
release can be found at https://nuttx.yahoogroups.narkive.com/
What is wrong with taking BSD cod? A lot of NuttX is third party BSD?
Samsung's os is TinyAra (Very OLD NuttX) and is embedded in TizenRT.
TizenRT has a LICENSE fille that claims that the whole thing is Apache
2. Samsung's TizenRT has a LICENSE file that state that the whole thing
is Apache 2 https://github.com/Samsung/TizenRT
TinyARA is ancient (ca 2015). I wouldn't plan to put any comple
subsystems into NuttX; it just isn't compatible. But picking and
choosing a few things to incorporate might be a good idea. For example,
Samsung implemented jounaling in SmartFS.
