When we release version 1.7.4 of the HTML Form Entry module I plan to use the
latter approach… in the meantime, I was planning on adding version 1.7.3 (a
pre-maven release) via the former approach.

The issue I’m having is that I’m not seeing the Artifact Upload tab… either I’m
being stupid and totally missing it, or my account doesn’t have upload
permissions. I will enter a service ticket to confirm that I have upload
permissions.

Thanks,
Mark

yes, the latter is the best approach when your module is already mavenized and
you can publish to releases or snapshot repositories.

I think we can go to http://mavenrepo.openmrs.org/nexus - go to the Releases
repository (assuming the artifact to be uploaded is a proper release version
and not just a snapshot), and then go to it's Artifact Upload tab.

Or you can configure the POM to know where the artifact should go and then use
mvn deploy to push it to the remote Nexus server (see
http://maven.apache.org/pom.html#Distribution_Management)

The latter would be the best approach I assume?

Fwiw, I have been given an account, and should have commit privileges, but
haven't figured out how to actually do a commit yet...

Actually the process discussed last week [0] to follow from here forward is:

Anyone (including Rowan) with commit privileges can request a Nexus
account [1] and we'll get it created for them to add artifacts.
