Whoa -- Groovy Module shouldn't be listed there...why is it there? That's still used extensively I thought?

Sure. So for dead modules:

1. Move module SVN project root to /openmrs-modules/abandoned
2. Move module wiki page to https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Abandoned+Modules

For modules migrated to Git

1. Move module SVN project root to /openmrs-modules/abandoned ?
2. Add new MIGRATED text file with URL of new location ?

There is also the Abandoned Modules wiki page to move all wiki

I think you should also put the readme in the root of it as Rafal
suggests telling users where the updated version can be found.

I couldn't find a wiki page detailing a "module sunsetting"
    procedure. Can you start one?

You can move them to the "abandoned" folder under
openmrs-modules. That is where old modules go to die.

I'd create a txt file in trunk shouting "DEAD MODULE REPLACED
        WITH STH" ;-)
