I checked the "Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.16_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_de.tar.gz" I downloaded with sudo rpm -K * , which resulted in digests OK on my system. According to https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/rpm-gpg-verify-packages it might also be possible to do installs using the flag --nogpgcheck when installing with rpm, not that that sounds like a great option.
The redhat article makes for an interesting read about rpm and public keys 🙂 ________________________________ From: Arrigo Marchiori <[email protected]> Sent: 13 December 2025 17:50 To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Subject: Re: WG: New version of OpenOffice 4.1.1.6 - Damaged files?
