I've gone ahead and reworked things so that we now have trunk and a new branch AOO50X. The idea is that.
1. All development is done on trunk.
2. Backports are then pushed to AOO50X
3. Releases are branched off of AOO50X to their own branch (eg: AOO501).
This should hopefully avoid the divergence that happened with trunk and AOO42X
over the years.
