Yes, PDFBox requires an OTF font to be used as the substitute. Can you attach a
screenshot of page 2 of PDFBOX147-corporate_guide.pdf rendered with Evince?
PDFBox doesn't look for fonts in /opt/adobe because that's adobe's private
directory. You'll need to symlink them into one of the standard system font
dirs.
